Lexen Healthy Juicer Review
The Lexen Healthy Juicer has a love-hate relationship with its users. Either people LOVE it or people HATE it. It juices fruits, vegetables and an assortment of other homemade products, including wheatgrass. Versatility is definitely a strong suit for this juicer.

Bad: Juice yield on the small side
Specifications: 8 year motor warranty | 2.63 Horsepower motor
Some love it, others…
The Lexen Healthy Juicer is a great juicer… depending on who you talk to. As a masticating juicer, it does its job well. It’s fairly versatile and can juice pretty much all fruits and vegetables. It can also handle wheatgrass which is a pleasant addition. And like other masticating juicers, it can be used to make soy milk, healthy baby food, nut butters and more.
With a slow engine, the Lexen Healthy Juicer preserves nutrients. The more speed a juicer has, the more it tends to oxidize and destroy important nutrients in the juice. This juicer certainly isn’t unique in this regard so if you’re interested in getting a masticating juicer, you can probably choose better.
When compared to centrifugal juicers, it’s quite an effective juicer, however when compared with similar types, it doesn’t keep up.
One of the best things about the Lexen Healthy Juicer is its price. Masticating juicers tend to be expensive, but this one gives you quite good quality at a decent price. Some of the better masticating juicers (such as the Omega 8005 juicer) cost a lot more so they would be unavailable or impractical for some people.
On a more negative note, this juicer doesn’t have a good reputation when it comes to juice yield. Some people have been dismayed by how damp the pulp is (a sure sign there is lots of juice still to be had!).
Pros
- Cheap when compared to other masticating juicers.
- It’s very easy to clean. If you’re not the type to get excited about cleaning, then this juicer would be a good choice. It’s fast, easy and simple.
- It won’t wake everyone up. It’s a quiet juicer which is perfect for those early mornings.
Cons
- Low juice yield. Despite masticating juicers being known for having a great juice yield, this juicer has trouble squeezing all of the juice out of the produce. The pulp it leaves is quite damp. This is the case for not only leafy greens such as wheatgrass, but also veggies like carrot and celery.
- A number of customers have had issues with the juicer itself. For some, it never worked when it arrived and for others it broke down much too soon.
Worth a shot?
It depends what you want out of a juicer. It’s cheap and easy to clean but still provides the quality that is expected with masticating juicers. Despite this, it sits at the bottom end of the category, so if you can afford it, it’s probably worth investing in something of a higher quality.
