Magic Bullet Juicer Review
The Magic Bullet Juicer’s selling point is that you can use it for anything. But is it all it’s cracked up to be? It sure does save a lot of time and space and you’ll have a ball as you play around with it. But if your goal is to use it as a juicer, you’re probably best looking for something else.

Good: Use it as a blender, coffee grinder, juicer and more
Bad: Blending? Sure, but not juicing | Durability an issue
Specifications: 4 by 4 by 10 inches | 1-year limited warranty
What is the Magic Bullet Juicer?
The Magic Bullet Juicer is essentially a high-speed blender with various attachments which enable it to do different things. It comes as a 17 piece set which includes the base, blades, cups, mugs, a shaker and two lids. Also included is a book with “10 second” recipes.
One of the best things about this nifty appliance is its size. It’s only a little bigger than a coffee mug and also replaces bulky appliances like the food processor, blender and coffee grinder.
It’s extremely versatile and can be used to make a wide variety of things, including dips, cocktails, sauces, and deserts.
How does it work?
The Magic Bullet’s strength comes from its unique design. It has a specially designed blade and shape that creates a mini “cyclone” inside. When you turn it on, food is circulated in a circular motion, passing through the blades with such high force that it can finish the job in less than 10 seconds.
It’s extremely simple to operate too. You just load the ingredients in one of the cups or mugs, twist the blade, place the “bullet” on its bade and press down.
If you want to heat it up or cool it down, throw it in the microwave, fridge or freezer.
Cleaning is a breeze, with everything being dishwasher safe or easily cleaned by hand.
Is it a juicer?
There is a juicer attachment that you can buy separately which allows you to juice various fruits and vegetables with your Magic Bullet Juicer.
However, don’t get too excited just yet. The juicer attachment is quite ineffective and will give you very little juice. The Magic Bullet is a great appliance, but it’s not a juicer.
Something like lemon or grapefruit might be fine, but apples and carrots will defeat it. The mesh inside the cylinder is unstable and comes off the seats almost immediately after turning it on. It’s not even worth trying to put leafy greens through it.
There is no filter or cutting mesh of any kind, which means that you’re going to paint your walls (and yourself!) with fruit and vegetable pulp.
If this sounds like you, I’d suggest using beets as they’ll come out super bright and colorful.
Any other problems?
The first thing worth noting is the 1 year warranty. The Magic Bullet Juicer isn’t built to last. It will break much sooner than a proper juicer, so if you want something that’s going to last you a while, check out the Acme Juicer 6001.
The durability might not have been a problem, but customer service for the Magic Bullet Juicer is next to non-existent. Many people report getting no response from them whatsoever. This then makes it near impossible to get new parts.
So once your Magic Bullet Juicer breaks, the only thing you can do is buy a new one.
Should you get one?
The Magic Bullet can be a fantastic appliance. It does a lot of things perfectly, such as blending and coffee grinding.
But if you’re looking for something that makes awesome juice, the Magic Bullet Juicer will most likely disappoint you.
